The set list includes some of Ponty’s greatest hits, “New Country” & “Enigmatic Ocean” along with music by Ponty’s cohorts: John McLaughlin’s “Lila’s Dance,”
Stanley Clarke’s “Song to John” & Zappa’s “King Kong.” Closing the set is my own tribute to Ponty: “Pontyfication.”

JL Ponty’s reaction to the recording: “Mads is one of the very best jazz violinists among the young generation, I really like the way he performs and rearranges my music,
excellent violinist, creative and musical. This album is a must for anyone interested in modern violin.”
