Hey Vince,
Thats a pretty wide selection of instruments – I am impressed! Where do you live – how is the music scene where you go play – jazz, bluegrass, etc..?

Hey Guys,
We are slowly getting started with this page, so I really appreciate you guys adding your posts.
Also as I see you both are interested in music and taking lessons. As I am a violinist foremost, I am doing a workshopa the Bekeley Jazz School here tomorrow, Sunday Dec. 6th at 2-4pm for all instruments really, so do come if you wanna meet likeminded people in the Bay Area!

I attempted to take some drum lessons a few years back but I just don't have the discipline :) That is my very very very brief overview…
That is really funny :) I had the same problem with my guitar lessons, but I tried a few new teachers and that what the problem.. My teacher before was very boring, and taught me like a was some "silly girl" Which I was :) but the teach I have now is way better which really helps in the learning process. I have stuck with it for 6 months solid, that is a big win for me and is paying off

Looks like I am the first to post on the Forums… This should be an introduction about myself. I am originally from New York and moved out to San Francisco about 5 years ago to chase after some better weather and a nice new job. It wasn't more that a few weeks after getting to SF that I checked out the music scene and have been hooked ever since. I have no musical skills myself, I attempted to take some drum lessons a few years back but I just don't have the discipline :) That is my very very very brief overview… Love that SF Jazz
